Deb Ann, yeah pretty much to do this on my free time.. LOL!
Greg Ebyben, I’m using Window XP and did downloaded Vista… Vista doesn’t have that much access for Windows Movie Maker.. So, I changed back to XP from Vista.. Show me your screen see if I can help you out…
Rick M, you’re welcome.. Lot of people asked me so.. I decided to go ahead to make it for all ONCE! π
overstream.net lets you subtitle videos that you have already created or uploaded to Google/YouTube/MySpace. It exports to .srt files that work with Subtitle Workshop too.
Let you know that I did experiment on subtitling from video. Very interesting to learn that the subtitling won’t work well on the “Double Up Speed”… Oh thank you so much for educating me. I need go work now. Geez, here’s my video link: http://www.deafvideo.tv/watch/5571
Tar, I want to applaud for you wanting to educated the people how to add caption.. It does lot of time and patience to add caption. We want to show the world that we can blend into all culture who is interesting in us. We have wider audiences to come.
Plus lot of us don’t have the same sign language.. Each state sign different for one word or something else. subtitle helps and alos we educated deaf people that we are good people and can succeed in life.. π
All I want to say bravo on educating some people how to add captions on PC (I’m Mac user, hehe) I did the video back in summer to show how to add subtitles for Mac. Anyways, we both know it is always time consuming and it is always a matter of personal choice to add captions or not.
I have had several people asking me how to add captions but they are PC users so I will definitely refer your vlog to them.
That was very interesting debating issues.. I wish that I have turn on/off captioning video clips but I do NOT know how to do that.. So let you know that I did got WORN OUT from working on subtitling.. WOW good experience for me! Whoa! Smile and hugs, Shawn

You you could edit the webpage name title How to make SUBTITLE on your vlog? Tar’s ASL VLog to more generic for your blog post you make. I liked the blog post even sononetheless.
Very good! You found a way to subtitle your vlog! Can you make the font size bigger? Different font color?
